Business growth is the focus for Bravo Bravo
So far the service we have received has been invaluable. We expect the advice and support to help us grow to the next level and increase our staff and client network Sam Hoh
Sam Hoh and Sam Clarke approached NBV (part of the Nwes Group) in early 2016 for support to help establish their graphic design business to enable it to grow further.
Although both Sam Hoh and Sam Clarke had significant experience in graphic design, they lacked the in-depth financial and networking knowledge to establish themselves in the market. They were also interested in available funding schemes.
Thanks to tailored support from their East Midlands advisor David Hallam, they have been able to build relationships and increase their network, as well as making the most of the support agency’s experience in business and finance skills. David has also helped both partners to draw up a complete business plan with cashflow statements and a detailed profit and loss spreadsheet that can be used for the future funding applications the pair hope to apply for.
Both partners have attended several NBV BizEx networking events and have found them to be an excellent source of helpful skills and advice, as well as a source of new and incoming business.
They are also planning to test out new ways of marketing their business thanks to the marketing and promotional advice they have received from David Hallam as part of the NBV mentoring service.
Both partners are also looking to use the financial skills they have acquired to enable them to develop their business further with a mixture of finance and funding sources. Future plans include recruiting a graduate to help manage the incoming workload.
Sam Hoh and Sam Clarke are clients of NBV (part of the Nwes Group) delivering business support in the East Midlands.
Under the Start & Grow programme, the two Sams received 7 hours of support and attended 6 training days to get their business up and running. They have raised finance to invest into the business and have created 2 jobs.
