Finest coffee and tea available on-line too!
Without the support from NBV, I know it would have taken us a lot longer to get Arabica Finest Coffee and Tea shop up and running. Louise Hesketh
Louise Hesketh of Arabica Finest Coffee and Tea approached NBV (part of the Nwes Group) in October 2015. Louise already had over a decade of experience of running her own retail shop, but had dreamed of opening an artisan coffee and tea shop to add to her empire for a long time.
Louise was introduced to David Hallam who would go on to be her business adviser and provide her with business mentoring and support to win grant funding. Dedicated high quality support from her East Midlands advisor helped Louise to produce a solid business plan.
Crucially, this business plan was key in helping Louise to access vital ‘vacant shops’ grant funding to open her new coffee and tea shop, and encouraged her to research other similar businesses and devise strategies for marketing, recruitment, growth and financing.
Arabica Coffee and Tea is already a firmly established business in the local community and the only business of its type in the area. Louise focuses on providing premium coffee, tea and confectionery products to a growing customer base. Arabica also boasts an on-line shop stocking not only teas and coffees, but also delicious confectionery and chocolates.
Louise has employed one full-time member of staff and has a number of exciting plans, including altering the retail premises, introducing a seating area for customers to dine in, serving hot food and cakes and blending their own signature brand of coffee.
Louise continues to meet her advisor regularly and is sure that further support will help her to further reach her target market.
Louise is a client of NBV (part of the Nwes Group) who deliver business support programmes in the East Midlands. Under the Start & Grow programme Louise has so far received 8 hours of support and attended one training day. She has invested £4,000 into her business and leveraged a further £3,000 finance. 1 job has been created.
